Out on the yacht

I spent my time on the yacht from wednesdy last week to monday this week. This was with my hostfamily, Sharon and Mark. So the first day went to Rangitoto which is a volcanic island, but relax its not active. The trip was really windy so we did some of it only by motor, and some of it with both motor and sails. So when we got to Rangitoto we anchored the boat and met Corina and David who was also out on their yacht. The day after we sailed to another island which i dont remember the name of, i just know its not really big, there was a german prisoner or something there many years ago, and theres a beach on each side. Thats where we spent New Years, we were on Corina and Davids boat, unfortunately Auckland city was too far away so we couldnt see the fireworks. The second day with beautiful weather we sailed to Waiheke, another island. We anchored right next to a really nice beach, which also further up had shops down a street, i appreciated that haha. After staying a couple of nights at that beach we sailed around Waiheke. Then we sailed back home the day after. The trip home was really windy, so the weather was not really good, it was rather cold. So since we came home i've just been hanging around home. And of course i got my package from Heidi and her family, Stephanie and Harveen! I was so happy when i got it, i still am. Anyways, it contained lovely christmas cookies and chocolates, a christmas card from the Brosstad family, necklace with pictures of me and Heidi and another one with me and Stephanie, another necklace and earrings with cute pink flowers from Harveen and at last ''tre nøtter til askepott''(cinderella), finally i can hear that old man translate the russian language on the movie haha, gives me a real christmas feeling for sure.
